Installation¶

Stable release¶

To install MapLab, run this command in your terminal:

1	`pip install maplab`

This is the preferred method to install MapLab, as it will always install the most recent stable release.

If you don't have pip installed, this Python installation guide can guide you through the process.

The sources for MapLab can be downloaded from the Github repo.

You can clone the public repository:

1	`git clone git://github.com/hwilli72/maplab`

To install the development version from GitHub using Git, run this command in your terminal:

1	`pip install git+https://github.com/hwilli72/maplab`

To install MabLab from Anaconda, run this command in your terminal:

1	`conda install -c conda-forge maplab`

To upgrade MapLab to the latest version, run this command in your terminal:

1	`pip install -U maplab`

Using conda, you can update MapLab using the following command:

1	`conda update -c conda-forge maplab`
