Installation

Stable release

To install MapLab, run this command in your terminal:

pip install maplab

This is the preferred method to install MapLab, as it will always install the most recent stable release.

If you don't have pip installed, this Python installation guide can guide you through the process.

From sources

The sources for MapLab can be downloaded from the Github repo.

You can clone the public repository:

git clone git://github.com/hwilli72/maplab

Install from GitHub

To install the development version from GitHub using Git, run this command in your terminal:

pip install git+https://github.com/hwilli72/maplab

Install from Anaconda

To install MabLab from Anaconda, run this command in your terminal:

conda install -c conda-forge maplab

Upgrade MapLab

To upgrade MapLab to the latest version, run this command in your terminal:

pip install -U maplab
Using conda, you can update MapLab using the following command:

conda update -c conda-forge maplab
